BTS: J-Hope Shares an Update on Jimin's Health on Instagram – Showbiz Cheat Sheet

J-Hope is letting BTS fans know that Jimin is feeling better. On Feb. 15, J-Hope shared a photo with Jimin on his Instagram story and told fans that Jimin is currently in good health. Earlier in the year, Jimin tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) and underwent appendicitis surgery.
While recovering from surgery, Jimin communicated with fans on the platform Weverse. On Feb. 15, J-Hope gave ARMY an update about the BTS singer on Instagram.
On his story, J-Hope posted a photo of himself with Jimin. In the photo, J-Hope sits in a chair and looks over at Jimin posing by large windows. With the Instagram story’s caption, J-Hope let fans know that Jimin is feeling “healthy.”
After J-Hope posted the Instagram story, BTS fans shared their gratitude that Jimin is feeling better.
“I don’t know which one hit me harder here…hobi assuring us that Jimin is very healthy, Jiminie obviously doing that cute pose to make his hyung laugh (looking absolutely adorable doing it), or Hobi’s very fond look at his little brother,” one fan wrote on Reddit. “it’s all too much. Love you so much, tannies.”
“Why have I got literal tears in my eyes over the way j-Hope is looking up at Jimin,” a Reddit user wrote.
“Aaaah bless you hobi for the update!! So happy to hear jimnie is doing well,” wrote a fan on Reddit.

On Jan. 31, Big Hit Music published on Weverse that Jimin tested positive for the coronavirus and underwent surgery for appendicitis. The label let fans know that Jimin recovered from the coronavirus in a Weverse post on Feb. 5.
“We would like to inform you that BTS Member Jimin’s quarantine has concluded after his surgery for acute appendicitis as of this early morning (February 5),” Big Hit Music wrote in the Weverse announcement.
The label continued, “Jimin was tested positive for COVID-19 and diagnosed with acute appendicitis on Sunday, January 30 and underwent surgery on Monday, January 31. He has since received inpatient care and tested negative on his PCR test before being discharged from the hospital.”
In the Weverse post, Big Hit Music also updated fans on Jimin’s recovery from appendicitis surgery.
“Jimin showed no extraordinary symptoms during his hospital stay. He had a mild sore throat at the time of his admission but has since completely recovered. We also received word from the medical staff that his surgical site is quickly healing without any issues. Jimin is currently recuperating after being discharged from the hospital,” Big Hit Music wrote.

On March 10, March 12, and March 13, BTS will put on Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul. The concerts will have an in-person audience and an online component.
The March 10 and March 13 concert dates will feature an online live stream, and the March 12 concert will be shown in movie theaters around the world.
All three concerts will be held at the Seoul Olympic Stadium.
